REGIONAL RACES
Since February 15th, 2011, Newturf proposes for every horse 2 typesof careers: international or regional.
The international races are for the good or very good horses.
The regional races are for the horses which have no level of the international races!
To summarize, any horse the raw earnings of which are lower than 3€, can be directed to a regional career.
ATTENTION: this choice is irreversible! Once this choice makes, your horse cannot return any more towards the international races. Males cannot reproduce any more (they become "geldings"). Females cannot be any more covered.

How to know if my horse has to be to direct to a regional career??
N°1 Council: "test" your horse in race, then compare its time in time the other horses of its generation on the distance where you ran. If your horse is far from the best, he cannot run usefully in the international races.
N°2 Council: in case of doubt ask advice in your clan.
How much costs a horse capable of running in regional running?
Let us say between 0,1€ and 2€ maximum. Indeed, these horses will take only not enough earnings. Thus, it is logical that they are very cheap!
What is then the interest of such races??
The interest is double....
It is difficult to have during its debuts on Newturf, during very good horses. Even the experienced owners have very few horses in their stable which will be capable of running important races.The regional races offer the possibility in some some of these horses to run rather than stay in garages or be redeemed(pensioned off)!
The second interest, you can be made the hand as jockey in these races with cheap commitment!
The regional careersoffer to horses which are not rather good the possibility of running in races where they will face competitors of rather close level.
Now, know that there will be all the same always the first one and the last one! Many horses will be to redeem(to pension off) because not rather competitive regrettably! It's the same in the real races....
