Avoid too much inbreeding in your projections (make sure that the maternal and paternal lines are different, at least at the level of parents and grandparents)


Strategy in flat.

A) Late.

Objective: 6 projections a month.

Choice of the stallion / 3 stallions, thus 2 projections of every. Choose the best horses of 6,7 and 8 years. (The horses which are classified in the first ones in the Arc de Triomphe, the "Championnat des Vans", the Time Sprint Cup for the horses of sprint, the CIC, the Golden Races).

The budget: the prices of the projections the best horses turn around 10/12€. Try to negotiate!

Mares.

10/10 are rather rare on the market of sales and at very overvalued pricesThus, opt rather for jujus in 9/10/10 or 10/9/10.
Do not trust their performances in race. The immense majority of cracks have a mother whose career in race was insignificant. On the other hand, all the mothers of cracks arise from a father crack.

** To note that since November, a great deal of late horses of flat are V 10 / R 10. He(it) should logically have it more on sale.

BASIC RULE(RULER): TAKE "JUJUS" STEMMING FROM CRACKS!

The price: it varies according to the age, a juju of 7 or 8 years costs logically cheaper than one of 4 years who can cover 5/6 time.
By searching the stock exchange of horses, you should find some correct business forf 2 in 10€.
Negotiate the price, especially for the jujus of 7/8 the years!

B) Premature(early).

Objective: 6 projections a month.

The general strategy varies hardly of that chosen as the late.
The budget changes however. The price of projections is even often more expensive, sometimes unrealistic (while the market is at the lowest).
Mares are rare and often at ridiculously prohibitive prices!
Take only been born mares 333 stemming from cracks of course! If possible having a little of quality and grips of squares 4 rather fast.

But if you opt for this speciality, say to yourselves, please, that the crenel(niche) is really very narrow. It explains by the hope of earnings in extremely profitable HOF, but do not forget that the career) of these horses does not overtake 2 months!

Besides, as it does not exist from running to earnings in flat, you risk to be quickly blocked in" races of group", and to be reduced to races in "réclamer".

3 stallions / 2 projections of every.

Choice of the stallion / the best 5/6/7 and 8 years. You will find very moderate price and attractive around 7/8 € in the elite of the speciality.

Choice of the mare:

NECESSARILY in 10/10/10.
3 squares 10 in hedges is very frequent, what does not mean that you detain a crack.

Thus, target only this kind of mares, PROVIDED THAT THEY ARISE FROM FATHER CRACK.

Vary the fathers from one month to the next for every mare. A birth with a stallion can be disappointing and show itself much better with the other one …

The budget: search the stock exchange of horses with fixed price, (we find cheap there), contact possibly the specialists of hedge and naturally … ASK ADVICE IN YOUR CLAN!

B) Premature(early).

Objective: 6 projections a month.

3 standards(stallions) / 2 projections of every.

Vary the fathers for every mare next months. A birth with a stallion can be disappointing and show itself much better with the other one …

Report: identical to the early flat.
Nevertheless, you will have more possibilities of races for your average horses aces with earnings.

Strategy in trot:

A) Late.

Very complicated, because the market of mares is closed, unless investing often prohibitive sums.

For the choice of the stallion, we stay in the reasonable (from 8/9€ the projection of crack).

As for mares, few potential salesmen, very few for correct mares in affordable price.
(Look for 9/10/10,10/10/9, 10/10 being extremely rare and the prices!!

To consider in your choice the fact of being able to run"average" horses in races to small earnings.

The early trot is a means interesting to begin a breeding in the field of précos.

Choice of the stallion : identical of the crack, that of the crack …


The prices: we can find bargains from 8 € the projection.
Jujus: walked(worked) more opened than in flat; only of born 3/3/3.

Of course, grips of square 4 rapids(expresses) are one +, but it is dearer(more expensive) …

Have a look in on 1 year who have been born and are in basic salary in the stock exchange of horses. You will find jujus of good origins at attractive prices.
Of course, these horses at very low prices will not be profitable in race (unless an error of the salesman...).

It will be necessary to you to be patient and to wait for the end of them second  year so that they can reproduce.

The advantage of such a choice of breeding is to be able to run average horses in races to small earnings.
